How You Can Lend a Hand
Looking for a way to make a difference? There is always a variety of ways you can help Hand in Hand Ministries – through time, talent and treasure. Please see the many options below we have for you to Lend a Hand…Change a Life!
Hand in Hand thanks all of our donors and volunteers for making a difference in our world.
Sharing your kindnesses and abundances is truly life changing to the children and families we serve. To make a real difference, we need your help. Donate Today!
You can assure Hand in Hand’s programs continue to provide hope for those marginalized by poverty or disease with your generosity. It is always appreciated and put to good work. As good stewards to the world, we are also good stewards of your donations. Historically, eighty-six cents of every dollar donated to Hand in Hand goes directly to programs.
Below is a list of items that we could use in our Louisville and Auxier offices. Due to new programming in Louisville and program expansion in Appalachia, Hand in Hand is no longer accepting the gift-in-kind donations that we have in the past. One of the best deals for a donor is when their employer agrees to match their donation. It doubles the gift, and makes your charitable dollars go twice as far! Another new way is to participate is through volunteer matching. Many companies now donate money to organizations based on the hours you do service. (For example: One of our volunteers works for a company that donates $500 for every 40 hours volunteered. She went to Belize, and Hand in Hand received $500!) Please check with your employer.
Contact Megan Byler at firstname.lastname@example.org or (502) 459.9930 if have any questions.
We are delighted to showcase the following list of places that match donations by their employees to Hand in Hand. If your workplace matches donations to Hand in Hand and is not on this list, let us know and we’ll add them to the list.
To the employers who match gifts…THANK YOU! You encourage the generosity of your employers by matching gifts. We are incredibly grateful.

When it comes to putting on an event, we need lots of help!
– Would you like to donate your time around or during an event?
– If you are an individual or business, would you like to graciously donate a gift card, service or experience for Hand in Hand to use at a future fundraiser? These gifts are often used for silent auctions to raise money for our programs. It is a great way to showcase your business as a generous and charitable community partner.
